Team Ruru Camp Consent and Information Forms

12 - 14 March

Our Waitākiri Team Ruru Year 5 and 6 camp will take place on Monday 12 to Wednesday 14 March.

We are going to Waipara Adventure Camp (10kms from Amberley), which is an amazing spot where the children
will be challenged, extended, and have time to continue building their friendships with the other members of their
studio. Your child will get to try activities like shelter building, archery, kayaking, orienteering, waterslide,
flying fox,  BMX bikes, blind trail, air rifles and team building activities.

The camp is fully catered for, however children will require morning tea and lunch on their first day, Monday.

A gear list will be emailed out to families within the next ten days.

Please complete each section of this form and return to school by the due date (see above).  

Payment

There will be a total cost of $145 for the camp. This includes, bus fare to and from camp, accommodation,
all food costs and the activities.

Please pay this amount to the school office, before camp commences.

Options for payment include:

1. Cash/cheque in named envelope into drop box at the office.
2. EFTPOS at office – cheque and savings only.
3. Internet banking 03-1700-0622075-025 ref child’s name/camp.

If you are concerned about meeting this payment please contact Shirelle at the office to discuss options.

Transport

All children will travel on the bus to and from camp. We will be leaving school at 9.00am on Monday and will
leave Waipara Adventure Camp at 1.30pm on Wednesday to arrive at school at approximately 2.45pm.

Parental Assistance

All the parents who emailed us and have already completed the police vetting process, will be joining us –

A camp meeting for parents will be held on Monday 26 February at 6.00pm in Korimako studio.
