Gaga dodgeball is a game where you try to be the last one standing.
To play you need a dodgeball and an octagonal shaped pit.
Everyone stands around the edge and someone throws the ball in. You have to wait until the ball bounces twice and say ‘gaga’. Then you are allowed to run around and try and get people out.
There are pit rules and if you break the rules you get banned from the pit for a certain amount of time.
Rules
- To get people out you have to hit the ball into to them. (It has to be below the knees)
- If you hit the ball out of the pit you’re out.
- You are only allowed to touch the ball once. If you make it into the top two then you're allowed to hit it twice.
- You're allowed to hit it against the wall and then hit it again.
- No teaming
Every day is a different year group so that the big kids don't hurt the little kids and that it's not so crowded.
On Mondays and Tuesdays year 6 and year 5 get a turn to use the pit at break times.
